Requirements: • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity.
