Now hiring: road roller operator (Nevada)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a road roller operator in Lander County, Nevada. The job is at a plant hire yard. The role involves keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. You should have: • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
