Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Franklin County, Washington. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. You should have: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Your main tasks: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
