Dozer operator — Carver County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dozer operator in Carver County, Minnesota. You will work on a quarry floor. Day-to-day duties: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
