360 excavator operator — Bennington County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a 360 excavator operator in Bennington County, Vermont. You will be based on a pipeline and trenching crew. The role involves: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits.
