Immediate opening: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Scurry County, Texas. You will be based in a meat processing plant. Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate Day-to-day duties: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Full-time, day shift.
