Bar bender and fixer — Tsanyawa

Join our team: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Tsanyawa, Kano State. Your main tasks: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Requirements: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
