We are recruiting: elevator technician (Oregon)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Wallowa County, Oregon. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring You will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
