Cement mason — Sumner County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Sumner County, Tennessee. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. What we are looking for: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet On a typical shift you will cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
