Crane rigger — Williamsburg County

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Williamsburg County, South Carolina. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Requirements: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket You will take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
