Foundry worker — Marion County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a foundry worker in Marion County, Georgia. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Your main tasks: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
