Vacancy available: pipe tig welder (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Hancock County, Kentucky. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. You should have: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 4+ years on the tools preferred.
