Power float operator wanted in Goochland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a power float operator in Goochland County, Virginia. The job is at a ready-mix concrete plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Day-to-day duties: • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $5,200 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
