Power float operator — Oxford County

Now hiring: we are hiring a power float operator in Oxford County, Maine. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Requirements: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves: • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits.
