Rebar worker — Dorchester County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar worker in Dorchester County, Maryland. You should have: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Day-to-day duties: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
