Restoration bricklayer — Honolulu County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Honolulu County, Hawaii. You will work on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
