Immediate opening: rigger (Colorado)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Chaffee County, Colorado. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Day-to-day duties: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 1+ years on the tools preferred.
