Immediate opening: press operator (Wales)

Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Merthyr Tydfil County Borough, Wales. Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £1,950 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
