Oven operator — Union County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Union County, Illinois. You will be based at a neighbourhood confectionery. The role involves grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • 2+ years' experience as a baker We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided.
