We are recruiting: we are hiring a blocklayer in Baca County, Colorado. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Part-time with flexible hours.
