Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Warrington, England. The role involves apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Full-time with occasional weekends.
