Now hiring: we are hiring an insulation installer in Jefferson County, Florida. You will work on a high-rise façade. Requirements: • Able to read construction drawings and specifications • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel • Comfortable working at height and off scaffolding On a typical shift you will lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding; install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape; work to drawings, hitting the specified U-values and insulation thickness; fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors; install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations; torch-on bituminous waterproofing membrane to flat roofs, basements and foundations. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
