GMAW welder — Kent County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Kent County, Texas. Day to day you will weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
