Groundsman — Jasper County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundsman in Jasper County, South Carolina. You will work at a landscaping company. Requirements: • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting The role involves: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
