Immediate opening: QC technician (North Carolina)

Now hiring: we are hiring a QC technician in Bladen County, North Carolina. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Day to day you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. Ideal candidate: • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Part-time with flexible hours.
