Head baker — Nangere

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Nangere, Yobe State. Day to day you will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; load and unload the deck oven with a peel; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
