Now hiring: semi-automatic welder (Ohio)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Monroe County, Ohio. You will work on a structural steel site. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day to day you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. 4+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Contact us to fix an interview.
