Pipe tig welder — Oswego County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Oswego County, New York. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Rotating shifts.
