Brick and block layer — Takum

Join our team: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Takum, Taraba State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser. What we are looking for: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer ₦110,000 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
