Pipe tig welder — Glades County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Glades County, Florida. The job is on an industrial construction site. The role involves carry out 6G pipe welds where required; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. You should have: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
