Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Ibaji, Kogi State. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Your main tasks: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Pay around ₦185,000 per month, based on your experience.
