Glazing assistant wanted in Somerset County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a glazing assistant in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy glazing workshop. Requirements: • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter On the job you will handle: • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris • Seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
