Join our team: we are hiring a tile mason in Derby, England. You will work in a kitchen and bathroom refurbishment. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes The role involves fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges; match the tile pattern and coursing across the walls. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
