Tree and shrub pruner — Tuolumne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Tuolumne County, California. Your main tasks: • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings • Apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Valid driving licence for travel between sites Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
