Crane rigger — Clayton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a crane rigger in Clayton County, Iowa. You will be based on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; read lift plans and method statements before starting. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
