Excavator operator — Mason County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an excavator operator in Mason County, Kentucky. The job is in an open-cast mine. Day-to-day duties: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals You should have: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination 1+ years on the tools preferred.
