Carpenter — Chatham County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a carpenter in Chatham County, North Carolina. You will work at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves: • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
