Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Iberville Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Rotating shifts.
