Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Stirling, Scotland. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level Your main tasks: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
