Offshore rigger — Ashland County

Join our team: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Ashland County, Wisconsin. The job is at a power plant. Day to day you will tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
