Crawler crane operator — Piatt County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a crawler crane operator in Piatt County, Illinois. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination The role involves carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
