Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
