Horticulturist — Hampton County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Hampton County, South Carolina. You will be based in a public park. The role involves: • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades What we are looking for: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
