Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Archer County, Texas. The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
