Dogger — Devon

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Devon, England. You will work on a high-rise building site. On the job you will handle: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position You should have: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
