Sheet metal welder — Parmer County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Parmer County, Texas. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. You will strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
