Head baker — Brunswick County

Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Brunswick County, North Carolina. You will work at an in-store supermarket bakery. The role involves monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts.
