Dogger wanted in Amelia County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Amelia County, Virginia. You will be based at a container port. On a typical shift you will guide loads through tight openings into their final position; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; read lift plans and method statements before starting; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams 5+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
