Formwork joiner — Macon County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Macon County, North Carolina. You will work on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
