Mining dozer operator — Caroline County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Caroline County, Virginia. The job is on a dam or embankment job. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily You should have: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Part-time with flexible hours.
